My Busy Term Three!
The first slide is my science fair project that I did for school. My topic was how food wrappings affect spoilage.
The second slide is from when I received a certificate at assembly.
The third slide is of me and my best friend Stella. We were doing a fun write which is when you write a story about three cards you are given.

How To Use Your Money Wisely!
This is my Speech about how to use your money wisely. I wrote about this topic because we do not have unlimited bank accounts that spit out millions of dollars. So we need to learn to use our money wisely.
The thing I think I did well in my speech was that I got creative with my ideas.
Next time I could practise delivering my speech more clearly and slow down a bit more.

Tilly the Tui
Tilly the Tui
By Holli 26.6.19
Tilly Tui flew over New zealand. After one week of flying Tilly grew tired. Luckily, Tilly found a nice big Pohutukawa tree to rest up and revive her energy. Once again, Tilly took to the sky on her journey. She had arrived. She lowered her beak, gulped up a long juicy worm, and fell asleep.
Our learning intention was to include all of the following sentence styles.
Simple Sentence: A simple sentence must have a subject/noun and an adjective. Plus in between 5-12 words.
Very Short Sentence: This sentence is to grab the reader's attention. This sentence must have 5 or less words.
Power sentences: This sentence is used to get straight to the point with no nonsense and word count is 12 or less.
Red, White, and Blue: You can use multiple ideas in this sentence by adding commas but don't forget on your last idea do a comma then put and after the comma.
The Adverb Start: This sentence is pretty straight forward cause you just start a sentence with an adverb but remember in between your adverb and your sentence there must be a comma.
Begin with a Preposition: They are words that are a time or a place. Prepositions are quite useful.
